This outfit is inspired by a Japanese fashion style – Mori Kei (“forest style”). It’s basically a whisper of a modern forest nymph, with layered clothing items that create a soft and billowy silhouette. Very feminine, and extremely classy.

I chose the high ponytail hairstyle to go with this outfit to add a nice height to the hairstyle while ensuring that it doesn’t clip into or cover the beautiful drape of the shawl of the adventuring sweater.
There are no class or level restrictions for this outfit, although Quaintrelle’s Hat and the Spring Skirt are gender locked to females. Although the quick instinct to use this for the caster / healer classes, I’ve found that I enjoy this on my Dancer as well because it really makes the skirt billow and flow. There are some clipping issues when running and jumping, though.
I tend to hide my weapons to create a more realistic modern look, but I imagine that this outfit would look cute with a simple Scholar or Summoner Book to channel a stylish librarian vibe.
On the whole, this is one of my favourite outfits to wear. The set as a whole is reasonably attainable without breaking the bank too much (if the market board prices for the sweater and hat are too painful, try gathering the base materials and enlisting the help of a friendly crafter). Do note that the bridesmaid sandals can be purchased from the vendor in Ul’dah, so don’t go paying inflated market board prices! The Egg accessories were from a Hatching Tide event during ARR times; otherwise, they are available on the Mog Station at a pretty low price.
