When I finally leveled up my crafters sufficiently to get into the world of glamour, one of the first things I set my eyes upon was this fabulous bohemian kimono cardigan over a breezy white top. Needless to say, I got my paws on the Ala Mhigan gown and it’s now one of my favourite tops in the game.
Head: White Beret | Pure White Dye (or the original shade for a more khaki appearance)
Chest: Ala Mhigan Gown| Celeste Green Dye
Hands: False Nails or Emperor’s New Gloves | No Dye / Terebinth
Legs: Spring Bottoms| No Dye / Terebinth
Shoes: Bridesmaid Sandals | Rose Pink Dye
Earrings: Egg Earrings
Bracelet: Emperor’s New Bracelets
Rings: Pristine Egg Ring (left) | Emperor’s New Ring (right)
I know my guilty indulgence is in the pastel pink dye, and I stand by it. This lalafell needs her dose of millenial pink! Having said that, I really love the Celeste Green shade on the Ala Mhigan gown.
Another key item in this outfit are the ever so popular Spring Bottoms. These are a little tricky if you’re just looking to get into glamour because they aren’t your typical craftable bottoms. To get these, you need to participate in the Fashion Report event at The Gold Saucer and accumulate a total of 600 points in order to unlock them for purchase at the Boutique Vendor. They really are worth it though. A notable thing is that they’re only shorts for the ladies; gentlemen get these as full length jeans. I really wish they would release both options for both genders.
The White Beret is another versatile piece that I absolutely love. My favourite hairdo to pair with this outfit is the (Pulse) Lightning Hairstyle which was unlocked from one of FFXIV’s earliest crossover events. It’s also available at the Mog Station for a decent price. I love this style because the sideswept waves look so adorably chic and give off a really modern vibe.
And of course, I couldn’t leave pink out completely. The outfit is tied up with another splash of colour in the Bridesmaid Sandals. This is my go-to for a breezy springtime outfit and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
