This outfit is a serious favourite of mine because it showcases two rather unlikely fashion items that I enjoy a lot. The best part? They are both incredibly low cost, which can help to balance the splurge on the draped top (which is absolutely worth the investment).
Head: Quaintrelle’s Hat | Pastel Pink Dye | Female only
Chest: Dalmascan Draped Top| Pure White Dye
Hands: False Nails or Emperor’s New Gloves | No Dye / Terebinth
Legs: Wind Silk Bottoms | Pastel Pink Dye
Shoes: Maple Clogs | Rose Pink DyeEarrings: Egg Earrings
Bracelet: Emperor’s New Bracelets
Rings: Pristine Egg Ring (left) | Emperor’s New Ring (right)
While the Dalmascan Draped Top is one of the most prized staples in my wardrobe, the star player in this outfit is definitely the Wind Silk Bottoms. I adore the plaid print of the original colour. But dyed pastel pink, it becomes stunning.
Another underestimated item are the Maple Clogs. Not just for dutch ladies; these work great at simulating a simple pair of slip-ons with an interesting texture. Plus, they are ridiculously cheap.
There are no class or level restrictions for this outfit. Quaintrelle’s Hat is gender locked to the ladies, but there is an exact male counterpart in Boulevardier’s Hat.
My personal hairstyle of choice is the Gyr Albanian Plait because I love the detail that it adds. The minimalist look of the draped top really lends itself well to this more intricate ‘do. This hairstyle that hails from Heaven on High is quite expensive though, so my second choice is the basic high ponytail which also looks modern and cute.
I really enjoy this outfit for being feminine without resorting to skirts or dresses. In fact, it really is all about the pants for this one. While the hat and top do not come cheap, it is kinda offset by the affordability of the bottoms and shoes. And every item is pretty versatile, so the gil investment is totally justified.
