I’m on the final stretch of leveling my Red Mage to 80 (whereupon she might give my Dancer a serious run for her money), and I’ve been spending a lot of time in Lydha Lran doing the Pixie dailies.
I’ve always been absolutely floored by how beautiful Final Fantasy XIV is as a game, but as a zone, Il Mheg is (literally) out of this world. Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, cabin fever has been setting in as I (and the rest of the world) hole up at home to keep the virus in check.
It’s been an absolute relief to be able to escape into Eorzea and enjoy a quiet moment in the middle of nature. Coming from a cosmopolitan city, I only get to see mountains and lakes when I travel – and I doubt I’ll be getting to travel any time soon.
Thank God for FFXIV.
